This session was curated by Alex Tseng who set the parameters of structure of music making. Exploring the concepts of human geography, musicians were to play their own incarnation of whatever instruments they chose. Each instruments were adjusted into a non standard situation for example drums sticks were made of a bunch of plastic restrains and guitars were intentionally not tuned. There were no fixed rhythm patterns and each musician were to make sense of at least what they insist of doing and played based on intuition or not.

The resultant sound of each piece gave a form and imagery of a place made up of multiple factors (musicians) imposed upon one another. Each musician acted either like a geographical feature ( mountains, rivers, sea) or be a culture of people. The mash up grows a new sonic creature.
